It utilises the power of the sun for water heating and all electrical requirements. Buso is proud his company provides employment for 7 people and is involved in a number of projects. Patrick enjoys technical innovation where he can use technology to solve problems. Recyclable energy resources are also close to his heart and it is no surprise to learn that Patrick spent eight years employed by the CSIR (Council for Scientific Industrial Research) in this particular field. While Umzikantu Technologies does HT and LT switchgear installations, lift, escalator and crane maintenance and general electrical installations, Patrick's affinity with energy conservation means the company undertakes energy efficiency audits. They come up with technology-based strategies which companies can implement to save energy – and money – after analysing their consumption patterns. |
